Adding a Dropdown Parameter List to a Report

It's easy to build a a parameterized Reporting Services report by just including something like 'where lastname = @lastname', but what happens when the lookup value is less memorable? We'll show you how to build a lookup list based on a second query and how to link it to the original query. It's fast, easy, and absolutely worth doing to make it easier for your end users.

This demo is for SQL 2008, not SQL 2005 or SQL 2000. I feel that needs to be pointed out.

Can you have one parameter's values depend on another parameter's previously selected value?

Having issues with multi-select dropdown passing values to cascading multi-select dropdown, especially when attempting to set up a subscription. Any chance a video helping us out with kind of problem could be made?
