Configuring Word Wrap and Virtual Space in SQL Server Management Studio

Too many of us spend time manually wrapping lines when editing TSQL. Would you do that in Word? We'll show you how to enable word wrap and how the 'virtual space' option works, a great time saver if you like to put comments at the end of lines and align them. Watching this is a great reminder to spend a few minutes exploring the SSMS options to make it work the way you work.

I tried to select line numbers and the numbers never appeared. I attempted to turn off and on several times and even closed the query window and tried to open a new one - all without success. Can you help? ---apcassidy@aol.com

I did not know that SSMS had word wrap, that is going to help a lot with some of the bigger stored procedures.

Good night I found the presentation very good sql server 2008, but I have a problem with sql server 2005 to run the upgrade advisor for database sql server 2000, is showing the following messages and not to do: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (VIEWCHECKOPT) and Several Issues upgrade not can be detected by Upgrade Advisor. To view undetectable Issues, click "Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it." I would greatly appreciate your contribution to this major problem I have. Johanna M.
