Exploring the Sys.Stats and Sys.StatColumns Tables
Ever want to get a list of all your statistis in a database, or figure out which ones have had NO_RECOMPUTE set (which overrides the AUTO UPDATE setting)? Or maybe wanted to drill down and figure out which columns were (or were not) included in a statistic? In this video we're doing a quick overview of both of sys.stats and sys.statcolumns, tables that you will rarely need, but when you do, just having a basic understanding of what they can tell you will be useful indeed!
