Should prove useful

1) If I understood the speaker correctly, he said that two NULL values (which is wrong, NULL is never a value, it is a condition) are considered equal. If SQL Server is configured to the ANSI standard, then two NULL conditions are never equal. 2) I felt that the need to have union-compatibility in the select statements was introduced much too late in the preso. 3) no mention was made of column alias, and where to create them. 4) no mention was made of how many selects can be part of an INTERSECT query.

Why would you use intersect instead of doing an inner join on the tables? What type of overhead does intersect carry?

Jay on 7/1/2010
poor accent / hard to understand also video should have highlighted rows to visually avoid user having to scan list to confirm which rows are to be matched before. also didnt cover EXCEPT only covered INTERSECT

The picture quality of the videos is very bad.

same problem with his last video - hard to understand what he is saying because of his accent

Thanks, Marco. I didn't have any trouble understanding you but you may want to slow down a bit. You're getting better at zooming in. Keep up the good work.

Marco, thanks for taking the time to put this video together. I had not used the intersect operator. I had no trouble understanding your voice or clearly seeing the video. Thanks again.

Nice job Marco and thanks for putting this together. I don't understand why some people are complaining about not being able to understand you. The pace and examples were excellent - keep up the great work!

Thank you! I had never worked with this. The explanation was very clear. I can see how this may save me time in the future.

combine several topics into one vs. 200 seconds for this. Not bad though!
