Integrating Database Snapshots into Integration Services

Database snapshots provide a handy way to provide data integrity for Integration Services. In this presentation, Brian shows you how to create a package that can "self-heal". In the event of any problem, the database will automatically roll back to a pre-ETL snapshot.

Not his best movie. The video was a bit jumpy and not always in sync with the audio. It's hard undeerstanding his accent sometimes. He didn't explain some things well enough like the table he was talking about at the beginning of the video. He also went quitefast through some steps.

Thanks Brian!

I love Brian Knight as an author. I have many of his books and can't say enough about his expertise. However, his speaking ability really lacks a lot. He talks way too fast and his voice almost has a lisp to it making him very hard to understand...

You should point out that Standard editions of SQLS don't include snapshot ability.
