I wondered how you could monitor for deadlocks.

Very basic. Didn't really explain enough even for a "first part" video. Should encorporate more.

tough to replicate. Explain more how you created the deadlock situation so I can reproduce. Seeing the code was not quite enough.

I always wondered if there was a simple way to only trace deadlocks and filter everything else out. I love that this is so easy. Thank you for going at a speed I could follow.

Great series

Good, but not good enough.

The sound cut in and out as the visual was zooming in and out. Don't know if that is my local internet connection or the video itself.

Good demo perhaps could have added a little more about what the various items in the grid really mean

Unfortunately, this part of the video did not show us how to detect deadlocking. However, it did show us how to create a deadlock and view it in Profiler.

It have been nice if the Management Studio part would have been included in this video.

I am not a advance sql user, I program website's without really thinking about these issues as mostly my client website are not user heavy, in the processes of sticking to the minimum quote and time limitation, how can I really apply these things, what's the trade off? How can I convince someone, who wan'ts to spend just 500 or 1500 for a project and still wants all the bells and wi-sells?

I did not see explained what was going on. Presenter indicates two windows are open but used only one. Not sure how deadlock was created.

Very well explained on how to set up the deadlocking demo. Though I think a little explanation on why we're concerned about this event as DBAs and how we may get a clue it's happening would go a long way better than a contrived simple demo.

Good and succinct intro!
