informative

Kenneth Wymore on 10/22/2008
Informative but the presenter's voice was choppy and there were background sounds that were distracting. The pace seemed very slow as well so it was hard to keep focused.

It was a Good introduction into Data Warehousing, but if I did not know that the instructor was a Data Warehouse professional, I would have concluded that he was reading notes with no knowledge of what he was reading. The reason I say this is that he pauses too long between subject points on the same screen giving the impression that he is trying to understand how to read (express) the next line. If his purpose for pausing is to allow the audience time to assimilate a thought or idea, that should be indicated at the begining of the presentation. Since we cannot see the instructor we are unable to determine his emphatic gestures that this is his intent.
