Ashley Pace on 10/8/2008
Would have been nice to see a working example.

Peter Schott on 10/8/2008
Pretty good, but a shame about picking that particular package. :) I appreciated the overview on the whole process and touching on what some of the options do.

AndreQ on 10/8/2008
Very well done. Nice to have real time problems in the video and how to go about fixing them. Also added ancillary information such as proxy security.

Veena on 10/8/2008
It is very helpful !!! VG

Varun N on 10/9/2008
It was very informative. Gr8 job

Bruce Bealer on 10/9/2008
Screen could be bigger

Mohan on 10/10/2008
fair

Ann on 10/13/2008
Well done. Would have been better if packages actually executed. More explanation of the various values that could go into the fields in the DTExec wizard would be good.

Leo Njampa on 10/13/2008
Good job!

Stephen Lawrenson on 10/28/2008
Shame demo package did not work

Pat on 11/10/2008
Great video.

vamsi on 1/1/2009
HE JUST SHOWED HOW TO CREATE A JOB....WHAT ABOUT SCHEDULING...???

Mark on 1/2/2009
It would have been better if the processes didn't have errors

bdpl on 1/17/2009
please finished the video thoroughly.

Peri on 3/3/2009
Very Very Good!

yury on 6/7/2009
Grate, clear tutorial

Ted W. Stapenhorst on 10/28/2009
Wow, I'm just learning SSIS and I need to watch more videos. I have a good background with DTS, however, SSIS looks more involved.

SSISDude on 11/10/2009
Good info! @Author: If something went wrong, just start over again. And shut down any messenger programs ;-)

Jitesh on 11/18/2009
Since he got errors while executing job and he rectified the issue which provide me a great help. Thanks

Mahesh on 3/17/2010
it is superb!!!

Sean on 5/19/2010
Thank you for the explanation of proxies.

dba on 2/23/2011
During the tutorial, errors occur due to config problems. This distracts and makes the tutorial hard to follow. I would suggest to fix the errors

gopal on 2/23/2011
Its good one

Christiaan on 2/23/2011
to technical for me, I'll start by viewing some other SSIS videos first...

Don Weigend on 2/23/2011
This video has lots of great information but the presentation lacks polish.

russell arms on 2/23/2011
Nicely done, the errors encountered helped the presentation.

Bruno on 2/23/2011
Pretty Cool !

Jay Stobbe on 2/23/2011
Blurry

Bruce Bealer on 2/23/2011
Make sure everything works before you record. If not Fix it and start over

Rob Firth on 2/23/2011
V Good. Q on proxy though - If you set a job owner as e.g. [Dave] to run the job, is that different than creating a proxy for [Dave] and setting it to run under that in the SSIS step?

Frank Fernandez on 2/24/2011
The issue with the package is the connection string has a space between "Adventure and Work" it should be "AdventureWorks", no spaces. Besides that everything is as usual...awesome!

Eric Moreau on 2/24/2011
too long, demo does not work!

Karen on 2/25/2011
Good lesson! I always have to tell our DBAs how to do this and maybe I can just point them to your video next time.

Richard Pallencaoe on 2/25/2011
Excellent idea with this 5 min. videos.

Ralph Schwehr on 2/25/2011
make sure your packages work in the presentation :)

MohanD on 2/25/2011
Good article. Still I have some doubts on the QL Agent Proxy account, My Excel 2010 does not execute as a JOB but runs good as a package.

John Vittori on 2/25/2011
the different crashes during the video !!! they create a really negative impression about the other videos that Knight may have or SQL Share may have.

Jerry Standridge on 2/25/2011
I would like to see how you schedule a MSDB stored package.

Alexander on 2/25/2011
very nice video. the only thing could be improved and it's about other videos as well - to prepare it that it could go through without errors, without fixing errors on a fly during a demo.

esteban on 2/25/2011
More logging please

Dexter Jones on 2/25/2011
Good coverage of the 32-bit bugbear.

Maurice Ivory on 2/25/2011
This was great to learn about!!

Andrew Sawyer on 2/25/2011
Please check that your packages will execute before running a tutorial on how to execute packages...

Vamsi on 2/25/2011
good

Shellz on 2/26/2011
The level of detail is very helpful. Brian makes SSIS look easy.

Zarir Patel on 2/27/2011
very clear explaination, and failing of the package makes it easy to see that not all things go smoothly.

Vadis on 2/27/2011
didn't get the difference between running under 32bit vs 64 bit

Ludo Bernaerts on 2/28/2011
to basic

Jacqui on 3/4/2011
Would've been better if the examples had actually run :-) otherwise, it was very clear and useful info presented.

Jeff Pierce on 3/7/2011
Good stuff

Maurice Ivory on 3/11/2011
Excellent one here!! I got alot of good information out of this one!! Keep up the good work Brian.

Robert Neal on 4/4/2011
The video demo has a software problem. Please fix these problems before doing the demo. I am having a very difficult time using SSIS. Your demos have been a lot of help. I also bought the 24 hour trainer book.

sateesh on 4/14/2011
it is very good viedo i am also facing the same issue can some one can help in this , i have running sqlserver 32 bit and data sorce is coming from 64 bit means faceing when i am execute the job .

bhaskar on 4/15/2011
good one, keep Helping

Jason Willis on 4/15/2011
Is it possible to run an ssis pacakge from another computer? For instance an email comes in with an attachment and fires off a rule to start a package.

C E Crane on 4/15/2011
the failed package made it confusing

csjbot on 4/15/2011
There is a lot of good information on scheduling jobs. The section on running was full of errors and didn't seem to cover everything to do with troubleshooting those errors.

Phil Rothenberg on 4/15/2011
Next time, you should either choose a package that you know will run successfully, or cut the recording and fix the package. There was also a brief sound problem.

Karl R on 4/15/2011
Need to make sure no errors occur doing the video. Also, make sure all messenger programs (like MSN) are turned OFF when recording a session.

Dan OBrien on 4/17/2011
Another great demo by Brian Knight.

Seemed a little rushed.

Katerina on 4/18/2011
I think it would be nice if we could packages running and not throwing errors

Roman Kosta on 4/19/2011
I understand this is basic package, but can you please show something with linked server o some advance tips. Thanks,

Maurice Ivory on 4/20/2011
Great information, I learn a few things with this video

santaClara on 4/22/2011
should have used an error free example

Neelesh on 4/24/2011
Not clear about 32 / 64 bit what was mentioned, how we can take care in SQL UI it. What you want to pass by this clip regarding 32/4 bit?

Antonio Fallucca on 4/26/2011
Good too bad the package failed and we didn't know what it did.

mark mcnary on 5/3/2011
could have used an example that worked.

venkat on 5/6/2011
very good video

ravi on 5/12/2011
good one

Raman on 5/20/2011
good nice presntation

Diwakar on 6/14/2011
Good One

David Burnett on 7/7/2011
While it has a lot of useful information it wasn't planned very well. the errors and problems detracted from the presentation.

Edgar Machado on 7/16/2011
Slow down. Test the demo before creating the video.
