Sharing Job Schedules

Most of us create a new schedule each time we create a new job, but we can actually reuse an existing schedule if we have one that fits. The upside is only having to change one schedule if a change is needed, and the downside is that changing the schedule changes it for all jobs using that schedule.

Job schedule sharing is an excellent feature, something that I haven't noticed before but I certainly can make use of it. Great tip!

I would have liked more time given to how jobs that share schedules will run at the same time rather than following a sequence. It was mentioned at the end kind of quickly. Perhaps a greater discussion of Using one job to manage what is really a sequence of jobs/tasks as a contrast.

Don't do it!
