I think the answers on the quiz portion are messed up. The second question should be SQL Server only. Even the explanation says so. However, it's scored wrong.

Awesome!!

Speaker spoke too fast.

Wil Sisney on 3/16/2009
The quiz at the end of this video tracks the wrong answer for question 2. The proper answer is B, and the explaination text says the same, but the system thinks the proper answer is A. Please fix it!

Good for the new SQL Manager

Question #2 states what is "not" supported in SQL Server - the correct answer is "SQLServer Authentication Only"

Ozair Naqvi on 3/19/2009
Answer for 2nd question is wrong ... please check it :(

Rhonda on 3/21/2009
The video was good, the quiz at the end was wrong (question 2).

Andy Warren on 3/22/2009
Sorry about the question error, we're all too human sometimes!

I tried replicate his login to a dual login type server without a password and it did NOT allow me in. Clarification of that part was needed- a few more seconds on the topic might have cleared up my confusion.

I wish your web-site supports a way to define the LEVEL of Audience b'cso this video was good but it was meant for Beginners..

Mark Sopczak on 6/22/2009
One tiny issue. If it is originally installed as WIN authentication and you switch to Mixed mode I believe the 'sa' password is then offically BLANK... a big security hole!!!!!

Emad on 6/23/2009
please we need more

Very informative and not dull. Would have done better on the quiz if I didn't have kids running in the house screaming.

Another excellent video, but I have a question regarding the 3rd party app that requires a SQL Login: Could the SQL login be avoided by creating a domain login to be used for the app? (I'm not a networking guy, and permissions is one of the hardest concepts for me to absorb.) Could you respond, please? ericbragas@yahoo.com Thanks!

Restarting SQL Server directly from services is not a reccomended way of doing it :)

Good presentation. Can you guys come up with some SSAS videos? Like something a bit more advanced. Maybe, for example some MDX videos or some calculation scripting? Thanks, I enjoy receiving these each day. CB
