The upgrade from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 isn't difficult, but it's still worth seeing what is involved and some of the minor gotchas you might hit. Did you know that you can upgrade the tools only? Or that your full text catalogs will need to be rebuilt? Watch the video!

Speaker needs to slow down his speech.

Slow down! Spaeker talks way to quickly...

I'm not sure about the answer to question one... I thought you could upgrade the tools only.

Sometimes what he says in unintelligible -- he talks too fast so I have to listen to it a couple of time. Otherwise, a good video.

The quiz popped up halfway through the video, blocking the view of the video. Maybe the video will be better the next time I view it.

Brian,
Your video tutorials are great, but I guess there are other factors you might try to explain like you showed in this video an in-place upgrade. There is side-by-side upgrade also. which you might mention the viewers about.
Your videos are a great resource for many of us...
Thanks,
Nitin ...

An upgrade from SQL Server 2000 would have been useful too. With both In place and Side-by-Side options. Thanks for the video Brian.
