Hi Brian, Thanks a lot for your video, it was very helpful! I wonder about your expert opinion on is there any workaround for using an SSIS, containing a fuzzy look up, in a case when you don’t have the Enterprise edition of SQL server available? Tatyana

Andy Warren on 1/28/2009
Robert, stream not found almost indicates a firewall blocking access to the video. Can you try from a different machine/location?

Hi there, What if we want to refer multiple tables? Ex: I am working on a hospital project. I need to use Fuzzy Lookup for naming? purpose patient name might enter differently in all this hospitals. Such a Bob Jone, Robert Jones, B Jones, B. Jones, Sr., Jr., III, Mr., etc.). I am talking about nearly 430 hospitals. Does fuzzy lookup can refer to multiple reference tables or just one. Can you please update on this. Thanks, D

THanks Brian - CRM is a PERFECT example

Mick on 2/9/2012
Performance tuning tip about running a regular look up first was golden.

YSLGuru on 2/9/2012
I'm an SSIS Newbie who is trying hard to embrace SSIS but am having probelm after problme with SSIS. To follow along with your example I created an xls file by runing the Data Export wizzard in SSMS and used a query to retrieve the rows that were then saved to the Excel file by the SSMS Export. Next I went to SSIS and setup an Excel Conection Manager and pointed it to that Excel fiel I just ceated but when I select the "Name of Excel sheet" drop down list I get the err msg "External Table is not in the expected format". WTF? It seems like everytime I try to do something with SSIS I get these kinds of problems; none of the samples or tutroials I try in SSIS ever work as expected. ANy dieas what is cauisng my table format issue here? Thanks

Eric on 2/9/2012
Extremely powerful and useful. Great clear presentation.

swetha on 2/9/2012

Very good presentation.

Dave on 2/12/2012
Excellent video with good use of dataviewer

Eric on 2/13/2012
Wow, that's some cool stuff. Thanks for the intro, I was always a bit intimidated by this, mainly because I hadn't tried it before. This leaves off at the point where I'm capable of working with it and testing it myself. Thanks. Brian's videos are always good.

Eric on 2/13/2012
YSL Guru, you might try using a table source instead of an Excel source. That will eliminate your Excel error, at least. I actually wondered why Excel was part of the demo, as it complicates the message just a little. Brian, your videos are always great. Members of the Sacramento SQL Server Users Group recommended I look at your Pragmatic Works site for SSAS training, since I'm new, so I'll be poking around there in the near future. I mention this because the members that suggested it gave the site high marks.

Samrat Sen on 2/15/2012
brilliant

Really nice article but bit faster. Thanks, Dip

Frederik on 6/27/2012
Nice overview, but you did not explain how correct the data afterwards, only how you find back the wrong data.
