I have a doubt
say we have created a DB on multiple filegroups and wen i select data from a table in one of the file groups, does all the other file groups too get loaded?

What do you mean by saying when you select data froma table in one filegroup, does all other filegroups too get loaded, how will selecting data load a file. If you want to create an Object on different filegroup other than default you will have to explicitly give that filegroups name.
