I used to live completely in the TFS world and loved it. I've since moved to an OSS stack using Subversion. I don't like the overall stack and miss the seamless integration of TFS, but after watching this video, I'm reminded of how unfriendly Microsoft version control products are. If you've never used Subversion and it's Windows Explorer based interface, you probably wouldn't know what I'm talking about. All of what you described in this video can be done with Subversion without all of these complexity. (Before I actually used Subversion in the real world for an extended period of time and saw how simple it is, I would have argued with my last statement claiming there was nothing complex about TFS/VSS). If you've used Subversion, I'd like to hear your thoughts.
